Description:
The mosque was built in the Sudanese-Sahelian architectural style. The dimensions of the mosque are small – only 8 by 8 meters, while the building has four entrances: for elders, for men, for women and for the muezzin. The beams forming the wooden frame protrude outwards from the walls – this is a characteristic feature of Sudanese-Sahelian architecture. But the walls are made of clay, and in conditions of high humidity and frequent rains, it must be strengthened annually with new layers of clay.
