Fljóts­dalur is a val­ley in Aus­tur­land, named after Lake Lagarfljót, which flows through it. The val­ley is renowned for its awe-inspir­ing land­scapes and cap­ti­vat­ing nat­ur­al won­ders. Its stand­out attrac­tion is Hengi­foss, one of Iceland’s tallest water­falls, cas­cad­ing from a height of 128 meters into a dra­mat­ic gorge lay­ered with vibrant red clay and basalt.
