The historical monument “Vladivostok Fortress” is a complex of defensive structures erected on the Muravyov-Amursky Peninsula and Russky Island in 1877–1917. It consists of coastal batteries, forts, caponiers and other objects. The complex is one of the most powerful seaside fortresses in the world. By the beginning of the Russo-Japanese War in 1904, the fortress included 5 forts, 7 strong points, 20 land batteries and 23 coastal batteries.
Исторический памятник «Владивостокская крепость» — комплекс оборонительных сооружений, возведенных на полуострове Муравьева-Амурского и острове Русский в 1877–1917 годах. Он состоит из береговых батарей, фортов, капониров и других объектов. Комплекс вошел в число самых мощных приморских крепостей мира. К началу Русско-японской войны в 1904 году крепость включала 5 фортов, 7 опорных пунктов, 20 сухопутных батарей и 23 береговых батареи.
