From the top of the fortress you can see the panora­ma of the old city. The Zin­dan Tow­er, one of the parts of the Lankaran citadel, stands out against the back­ground of the rest of the walls of the fortress. Pre­vi­ous­ly, this tow­er served as a prison, where, accord­ing to rumors, Stal­in served his sen­tence in the pre-rev­o­lu­­tion­ary past.
