Description:
This happened in 2000, at the height of the Second Chechen War, in the Argun Gorge. A detachment of 2,500 thousand militants under the command of Khattab tried to break into Dagestan in order to take as many hostages as possible. On their way they met a small detachment of the 6th company, consisting of 90 Pskov paratroopers. 86 paratroopers were killed.
