A unique engi­neer­ing struc­ture. It was built on Sakhalin Island by the Japan­ese back in 1928, at a time when the south­ern part of the island was con­sid­ered Japan­ese ter­ri­to­ry. The bridge is locat­ed on the old rail­way line Yuzh­no-Sakhal­in­sk — Kholm­sk. The unique­ness of the bridge lies in the fact that the path to it is a loop pass­ing under­ground.

The length of the Dev­il’s Bridge is only 125 meters, the height is 45 meters. It is almost twice as tall as the tallest oper­at­ing bridge on Sakhalin in Novoselo­vo.
