The bay fully lives up to its name – it is hidden from the winds, there are almost no strong waves here. It is also very shallow – not far from the shore the depth is only 1.5 meters, so in the summer it is always crowded. Especially in August, when the water warms up to 20 degrees. There is entertainment here not only in summer – there are gazebos on the shore, you can go fishing, look for sakhalinite – pebbles of local amber, or admire the surrounding vegetation. And if you go north from the bay, beyond the cape, you will come across waterfalls, a rocky outcrop and the Quiet Natural Park.
