A giant depression that formed on the Yamal Peninsula between 2013 and 2014. It is a huge funnel in the ground with a diameter of 20 meters and a depth of 50 meters, which is comparable in height to a 16-story building. Some scientists believe that this is the first cryovolcano discovered on Earth. Water, ammonia and methane erupt from the depths of such formations.
