Описание:
The Kingdom of Bahrain and Saudi Arabia were connected in 1986 by a bridge named after the fifth king of Saudi Arabia, Fahd bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, who financed the project. At 25 kilometers long, it ranks 14th in the list of the longest bridges in the world and is the longest among all Arab bridges. More than 50,000 vehicles cross the King Fahd Causeway every day. The car crossing is especially popular among residents of Saudi Arabia who travel to neighboring Bahrain on weekends, where there are far fewer restrictions, in particular, alcohol is sold freely.
