Description:
Consists of nine arches, built entirely of solid rock — a mixture of stone and brick without the use of steel. The height of the bridge is almost 25 meters, and the total length is more than 90 meters. It was created as part of the expansion of the railway network on the island to improve transport accessibility between small towns and tea plantations. A masterpiece of the British colonial era in Sri Lanka. It is located in the city of Ella, in the Badulla district, between the Ella and Demodara railway stations.
