New castle. Not historical. A medieval knight’s castle, recreated according to ancient drawings in 2011. As befits any fortress, Nesselbeck is equipped with a moat, a drawbridge, loopholes, a portcullis on the gates and stained glass windows. The interiors are designed in the style of the Middle Ages, and each room is dedicated to its own master of the Teutonic Order.
