This site preserves the ancient tradition of royal drums, symbols of power and unity.

Founded by King Mwezi IV Gisabo after victory over a rebellious chief, the site became a center for preserving ritual drumming. Techniques are passed down through generations, and performances combine music, dance, and poetry.
Факты:
Two drums here are never played: Ruciteme and Murimirwa. In 2014, the drumming tradition was recognized by UNESCO.
