The monastery of the Russian Orthodox Church was founded by Sergius of Radonezh in 1337. The complex contains more than 50 thousand buildings from the 15th to 19th centuries. Among them, the Holy Trinity Cathedral stands out, where the relics of the saint are kept and you can see the frescoes of Andrei Rublev. The tomb of Boris Godunov is hidden in the Assumption Cathedral.
