Locat­ed on the Sene­gal Riv­er between the towns of Bafoula­bé and Diamou, the water­fall cas­cades about 16 meters high and spans up to 500 meters wide. In the dry sea­son, water flow is around 12–13 m³/s, ris­ing to 2430 m³/s dur­ing the rainy sea­son. The sur­round­ing land­scape fea­tures rocky cliffs and patch­es of green­ery, con­trast­ing with the region’s arid zones. It’s pop­u­lar among tourists, pho­tog­ra­phers, and researchers.
