An extinct volcano located in the caldera of the same name in the northern part of Iturup Island. Inside the Medvezhya caldera are also located the merged bases of the cones of the active volcanoes Menshoy Brat (563 m) and Kudryavy (991 m). The diameter of the base of the cone of the extinct volcano is 8 km. The edge of its crater is destroyed, at the top there is a platform with a diameter of about 750 m.
