Электростанция начала XX века, памятник индустриальной эпохи.
Описание:
The hydroelectric power station was built in the early 1950s to provide electricity to St. Petersburg. It is located on the northern tip of the island, on the very border, and therefore is a doubly sensitive facility, completely closed to outside access. The best views of the hydroelectric power station open from the Estonian coast or from the walls of the Ivangorod fortress. However, you won’t see anything special: the architecture of the Narva Hydroelectric Power Station is very similar to the Volga power plants of the pre-war and early post-war construction. It is most interesting to observe the hydroelectric power station during the flood period, when the stream rushes directly through the spillway, raises foam and creates seething in the entire lower reaches of the Narva.
