Built in 2011, the 54-sto­ry build­ing is 188.3 m high, the high­est in the Urals, Siberia and all of Cen­tral Asia. It is the north­ern­most sky­scraper in the world. The build­ing has vir­tu­al­ly no load-bear­ing walls, the entire struc­ture rests on columns. The sky­scraper hous­es offices and a muse­um of Vladimir Vysot­sky (his hotel room has been recre­at­ed and his per­son­al Mer­cedes is on dis­play), and an obser­va­tion deck is open on the 52nd floor.
