Description:
A old temple dedicated to Lord Champakeshwara, an incarnation of Lord Vishnu. Name stands because of the presence of the Champaka flowers in the area that was used for worship. A small temple, dedicated to Lord Narasimha is located on the hillock. A small Kalyani is present behind the Temple, close to the borders of the Bannerghatta forest in about 700 mtrs walk from top of the Hillock. Visit to the Tank is prohibited in Wintry evening and late evenings owing to presence of elephant movement
