The City Hall is open to the public, so you can stroll through the hallways, stairs, and study all the paintings, frescoes, and other decorations on your own. Guided tours cost 30 Kr for the main building (in Danish, English and German at 10am to 3pm depending on time of year and language of tour) and 20 Kr for the tower tour (at noon Mon-Sat and 10am, 2pm from June to September). There is a nice little garden that cannot be seen from outside the city hall. The city hall is also home of ”Jens Olsen’s World Clock” – this mechanical masterpiece of a complete astronomical clock is located in the foyer.
