Description:

En Ру

This is a memorial in honor of the soldiers who died for the liberation of the Svetlogorsk region during the Great Patriotic War. It is a nine-ton bell cast from bronze and, according to design, has a large split caused by the explosion. On the inside of the bell, where you can go just through this split, the names of all 264 who died during the liberation of Shatilok are engraved. They are buried in a mass grave under a five-meter structure created by Belarusian architects. On the outside of the bell you can find images of military operations right up to the capture of the Reichstag.
