In the last few years, ground fail­ures have begun in Berezni­ki, asso­ci­at­ed with exces­sive and poor­ly cal­cu­lat­ed under­ground work­ings. They are main­ly con­cen­trat­ed in the area of the rail­way sta­tion. You won’t be allowed to look at them, since all the sink­holes are sur­round­ed by fences, but you can look at the destruc­tion of hous­es near the sink­hole zone. For exam­ple, hous­es in the area of Reshetov Square (the south­ern end of Lenin Avenue) have been evict­ed, sur­round­ed by fences, and huge cracks are clear­ly vis­i­ble on them.
