The ethnographic complex was created by the local museum. It presents Russian and Komi-Yazva huts transported from the outskirts of Krasnovishersk. If everything is clear with Russian, then Komi-Yazva is apparently unique. The Komi-Yazvintsy are a small people who have lived on Vishera since ancient times. There are only a couple of thousand of them left, but the state does not recognize them as a separate nationality, so the Krasnovishersk Museum is the only place where they even know about such a nationality. In addition to the huts, they show a recreated Russian boat here as a symbol of the fact that Vishera was the first route to Siberia (from Vishera there was a portage to the Tavda basin and from there to the Irtysh: this route was used until the end of the 16th century).
Этнографический комплекс создан местным музеем. В нём представлены перевезённые из окрестностей Красновишерска избы – русская и коми-язьвинская. Если с русской всё ясно, то коми-язьвинская, по-видимому, уникальна. Коми-язьвинцы — малый народ, издревле живший на Вишере. Осталось их всего пара тысяч человек, но и тех государство не признаёт отдельной народностью, поэтому музей Красновишерска — единственное место, где о такой народности вообще знают. В довесок к избам тут показывают воссозданную русскую ладью как символ того, что Вишера была первым путём в Сибирь (с Вишеры существовал волок в бассейн Тавды и оттуда в Иртыш: этим маршрутом пользовались до конца XVI века).
