The Sliznevsky cliff, rising 300 meters above sea level, offers truly postcard views. Fortunately, there is an observation deck at the top of the cliff, which is easy to get to. Once here, be careful, because the beauty of the sight is breathtaking, and your jaw, forgive me for the inappropriate slang, simply drops. The platform is also interesting for the monument to the “Tsar-fish” installed here, the image of which is inspired by the story of the same name by Viktor Astafyev. This fish is the Yenisei sturgeon, considered a symbol of the power and grandeur of Siberian nature. It is considered a good omen to hold on to the moustache of the “Tsar-fish”, leave a coin at the monument and attach a lock to the fence in order to strengthen love and marriage.
Со Слизневского утеса, возвышающегося на 300 метров над уровнем моря, предстают взору поистине открыточные виды. Благо на вершине скалы оборудована смотровая площадка, добраться до которой не составит труда. Оказавшись здесь, будьте аккуратны, ведь от красоты зрелища захватывает дух, а челюсть, простите за неподобающий сленг, просто-напросто отвисает. Интересна площадка и установленным здесь памятником «Царь-рыбы», образ которой вдохновлен одноименной повестью Виктора Астафьева. Рыба эта — енисейский осетр, считающийся символом могущества и величия сибирской природы. Доброй приметой считается подержаться за усы «Царь-рыбы», оставить у памятника монетку и пристегнуть на ограждение замок, дабы укрепить любовь и брачные узы. Сверх-туристическая достопримечательность, поэтому оценка на “3”. Очень посредственно.
