Description:
The area of almost 800 hectares is divided into two parts — a reserve-sanctuary, access to which is open only to scientists, veterinarians, zoo staff and other specialists, and a park area, where anyone can walk. Here they plant a variety of plants, and breed endangered species of animals. Here you can observe a wide variety of animals of the Arabian Peninsula, Africa and South Asia, living in conditions as close to natural as possible: gazelles, goitered gazelles, mouflons, fallow deer, zebras, giraffes, desert hares and even the Arabian oryx, which has already disappeared in the wild. The population of the reserve is represented by 45 species of animals and 82 species of birds.
