One of the well-stud­ied bur­ial mounds of the Val­ley of the Kings com­plex. It is attrib­uted to the pre-Scyth­i­an era, the bur­ial was made in the 9th-8th cen­turies BC. The mound is inter­est­ing not only for its antiq­ui­ty, but also because rep­re­sen­ta­tives of the nobil­i­ty were buried here. Large-scale exca­va­tions were car­ried out in the 1970s. It is con­sid­ered the largest mound in Tuva — the diam­e­ter of the mound is about 120 meters. Under the ground there was a log bur­ial cube, fenced with a fence, next to the main bur­ial archae­ol­o­gists dis­cov­ered sev­er­al dozen more graves. Dur­ing the exca­va­tions here, weapons of the ear­ly Scythi­an peri­od, jew­el­ry and oth­er items were found. The finds can be seen in the Nation­al Muse­um of Tuva.
