Description:
The Aviation Heritage Centre has an impressive collection of aircraft and displays depicting the Territorys involvement in aviation from the early pioneers to the jet age. The prize exhibit is a B-52 bomber on permanent loan from the United States Air Force, one of only two on public display outside the US. The centre is 8km from Darwin city and is on the site of fierce air combat that took place overhead during World War II.
