One single mountain range crosses this region between the Caspian and Aral Seas and the Ural River. This is the Mugajars. Starting from Ustyurt, they run northwest to the Ural Mountains, from which they are still separated by a significant steppe space. The center of these mountains, closer to Ustyurt, is called Zhalgan-tau. The spur, the most prominent in the steppe, as an outpost, is Karatau, and their peak is called Airakty. The images were made in the eastern and southeastern sectors of the Cretaceous deposits located on the eastern side of the table-like limestone mountain Airakty. Domestic animals are depicted on the stones: a camel, a horse, a mountain goat, riders and stylized images reflecting the religious worldview. The absolute height of the mountain reaches 148 meters.
