It has now been proven that peo­ple lived in the cave from 14,000 BC to 10,500 BC; per­haps new research will extend this peri­od. The upper cul­tur­al lay­er, up to 90 cm deep, belongs to the Upper Pale­olith­ic. This is fol­lowed by a ster­ile lay­er. Beneath it is anoth­er lay­er that is less stud­ied, pre­sum­ably the Mid­dle Pale­olith­ic. The upper lay­er has two phas­es: late glacial and post-glacial peri­ods. This lay­er is rich in stone tools; beads made of deer teeth, har­poons made of deer antler, rare bone tools and much more were also found, which will be dis­cussed below.
