Description:
It has now been proven that people lived in the cave from 14,000 BC to 10,500 BC; perhaps new research will extend this period. The upper cultural layer, up to 90 cm deep, belongs to the Upper Paleolithic. This is followed by a sterile layer. Beneath it is another layer that is less studied, presumably the Middle Paleolithic. The upper layer has two phases: late glacial and post-glacial periods. This layer is rich in stone tools; beads made of deer teeth, harpoons made of deer antler, rare bone tools and much more were also found, which will be discussed below.
