A strait in Turkey that sep­a­rates Europe and Asia. It con­nects the Black Sea with the Sea of ​​Mar­mara, and on both its shores are locat­ed dis­tricts of Istan­bul. Char­ac­ter­is­tics of the strait: depth — 124 meters; length — 30 kilo­me­ters; width — from 4 kilo­me­ters to 750 meters (the nar­row­est strait in the world). On the shores of the Bospho­rus you can see pic­turesque forests, ancient fortress­es, resort com­plex­es and res­i­den­tial areas of Istan­bul.
