The architectural ensemble on the Capitoline Hill, one of the seven hills on which Rome arose. The square is interesting with the Cordonata staircase, a replica of the equestrian statue of Emperor Marcus Aurelius and three magnificent palaces housing the exhibitions of the Capitoline Museum.
