A old tem­ple ded­i­cat­ed to Lord Cham­pakesh­wara, an incar­na­tion of Lord Vish­nu. Name stands because of the pres­ence of the Cham­pa­ka flow­ers in the area that was used for wor­ship. A small tem­ple, ded­i­cat­ed to Lord Narasimha is locat­ed on the hillock. A small Kalyani is present behind the Tem­ple, close to the bor­ders of the Ban­nerghat­ta for­est in about 700 mtrs walk from top of the Hillock. Vis­it to the Tank is pro­hib­it­ed in Win­try evening and late evenings owing to pres­ence of ele­phant move­ment
