This Gobustan mausoleum was built for Sheikh Diri Baba. At one time, this tomb was endowed by local residents with almost supernatural properties. Many came here to pray, and some even made pilgrimages from remote parts of the country. At a certain angle, one gets the feeling that the tomb is as if “built” into the rock and is in some unknown way supported by weight.
