The vil­lage is locat­ed on the moun­tain of the same name, which con­sists of cot­tages and coun­try hous­es and sev­er­al peas­ant hous­es and is locat­ed in the moun­tain­ous part of the Guria region (Ozur­geti region) in the gorge of the Bzhuzha Riv­er at an alti­tude of 2100 meters from sea lev­el. Near­by at an alti­tude of 2500 m above sea lev­el is the moun­tain lake Chin­chao. The area is famous for its pine groves, min­er­al water springs and salu­bri­ous cli­mate.
