The village is located on the mountain of the same name, which consists of cottages and country houses and several peasant houses and is located in the mountainous part of the Guria region (Ozurgeti region) in the gorge of the Bzhuzha River at an altitude of 2100 meters from sea level. Nearby at an altitude of 2500 m above sea level is the mountain lake Chinchao. The area is famous for its pine groves, mineral water springs and salubrious climate.
