On the bank of the Ulug-Khem River, near the village of Moren, there is Mount Khayyrakan: its name translates as “heavenly bear”. It is believed that it received its name thanks to a Buddhist priest – a lama, who passed through these places. The lama noticed that the rock looked like a lying bear with fangs, and the name stuck with the locals. The area near Khayyrakan is suitable for walks and outdoor recreation. On one of the slopes there is a spring, which is considered healing. It can be identified by the multi-colored rags tied to the trees near the outlet of the water. In the rock there is a cave consisting of five grottoes more than 80 meters long. On the walls at the entrance you can see images painted by local residents. In the fourth and fifth halls, picturesque stalactites hang from the vaults.
На берегу реки Улуг-Хем, рядом с селом Морен, находится гора Хайыракан: ее название переводится «небесный медведь». Считается, что свое имя она получила благодаря буддийскому священнослужителю – ламе, который проезжал через эти места. Лама заметил, что скала похожа на лежащего медведя с клыками, и название закрепилось у местных жителей.
Местность у Хайыракана подходит для прогулок и отдыха на природе. На одном из склонов бьет источник, который считается целебным. Его можно опознать по разноцветным лоскуткам, повязанным на деревья рядом с выходом воды. В скальной породе есть пещера, состоящая из пяти гротов длиной более 80 метров. На стенах у входа можно заметить изображения, нарисованные местными жителями. В четвертом и пятом залах со сводов свисают живописные сталактиты.
