Most family resorts of this caliber faded into obscurity a generation ago. A collection of homey buildings and cottages gathers around the resort’s village green. On-site activities include 18-hole golf, hot-spring swimming, volleyball, shuffle board and croquet. The two restaurants are good, too; some of the lodging rates include golf or swimming packages.
