The monument is a domed single-chamber building square in plan, symmetrical with respect to the longitudinal axis passing through the entrance opening. The building is oriented with the main facade to the south-west. In the masonry, stone of different types and degrees of processing was used. The main masonry was made of slabs of roughly processed stone. The surface of the facades was faced with hewn and polished slabs. The main façade was probably highlighted by a small portal, its surface was decorated with belts of three-dimensional, contour and bas-relief stone carvings. The walls of the building taper slightly towards the top, creating the illusion of even greater height and grace. Features of masonry and decor make it possible to talk about the use by the builders of the Kenty-Baba mausoleum of building technologies and architectural techniques known and used in medieval Khorezm. Directly opposite the mausoleum is an open-air mosque.
