The mon­u­ment is a domed sin­­gle-cham­ber build­ing square in plan, sym­met­ri­cal with respect to the lon­gi­tu­di­nal axis pass­ing through the entrance open­ing. The build­ing is ori­ent­ed with the main facade to the south-west. In the mason­ry, stone of dif­fer­ent types and degrees of pro­cess­ing was used. The main mason­ry was made of slabs of rough­ly processed stone. The sur­face of the facades was faced with hewn and pol­ished slabs. The main façade was prob­a­bly high­light­ed by a small por­tal, its sur­face was dec­o­rat­ed with belts of three-dimen­­sion­al, con­tour and bas-relief stone carv­ings. The walls of the build­ing taper slight­ly towards the top, cre­at­ing the illu­sion of even greater height and grace. Fea­tures of mason­ry and decor make it pos­si­ble to talk about the use by the builders of the Ken­­ty-Baba mau­soleum of build­ing tech­nolo­gies and archi­tec­tur­al tech­niques known and used in medieval Khorezm. Direct­ly oppo­site the mau­soleum is an open-air mosque.
