The park is included in the International Network of Specially Protected Habitats of Rare Cranes of Northeast Asia, created on the initiative of the International Crane Foundation and the International Bureau for the Conservation of Wetlands (Wetlands International). The national park and adjacent territories are home to: 84 species of terrestrial invertebrates, 28 species of fish and fish-like creatures, 96 species of birds, 21 species of mammals. Of these, the Red Book of Yakutia includes: 3 species of terrestrial invertebrates (Olshvanga bear, Menetrie bear and tundra bear); 2 species of fish (Siberian sturgeon and nelma), 22 species of birds, 1 species of mammal (Muskox).
