Description:
A unique Orthodox building built back in the 10–11th century. It became the place where many historically important events took place — at a time when Lykhny was listed as the capital of the Abkhazian principality and was the residence of the princes of the Chachba family, the events of the Russian-Abkhazian conflict in the 19th century. Currently, this temple is a place of pilgrimage for Orthodox believers.
