It is believed that 200 million years ago there were high mountains in this place, but due to snow, frost and winds, only small pillars remained from them. Many legends are associated with them. According to one of them, the leader of the giant tribe wanted to marry the daughter of the leader of the Mansi tribe. Having been refused, the giant attacked the village.
