The Man­skaya Loop is the name of the place where the Mana Riv­er makes a wind­ing turn around a pine-cov­­ered cliff. Many peo­ple will prob­a­bly rec­og­nize this place, because it was here that sev­er­al episodes of the film “Mas­ter of the Taiga” with Vladimir Vysot­sky in the lead­ing role were filmed. Under the tsars, gold min­ing was active­ly car­ried out here, but today the main trea­sure of the Man­skaya Loop is con­sid­ered to be the vir­gin nature around it. A hike to this sec­tion of the riv­er will become a kind of jour­ney, dur­ing which you will admire nature to your heart’s con­tent and stretch your legs, because a cou­ple of times you will have to over­come small peaks.
