The roman­tic and medieval hill­top town of Motovun is one of the best hid­den gems of Croa­t­ia. Motovun’s his­to­ry dates back to before the Roman era when a Celtic tribe lived in the area. The town is filled with incred­i­ble archi­tec­ture and his­to­ry. It also offers mag­i­cal views of the sur­round­ing vine­yards that fill the val­leys.
