Description:
The national park on the border with Uganda, covering an area of 410 kmĀ², received the status of a protected area in 1953. It includes grassy savannah, broadleaf forest and a river. A good dirt road leads to the reserve, so it is considered the most accessible for tourists. Baboons, colobuses, macaques, snakes, parrots live on trees. It is easy to meet marabou storks and huge hippos near the water.
