With a diam­e­ter of almost 30 miles, this is a struc­ture in the deserts. One of the most unique places in the world, it looks like a mas­sive fos­sil. Or maybe an alien space­ship land­ing strip? It is a promi­nent cir­­cle-shaped struc­ture smack in the mid­dle of Mau­ri­ta­nia. You can get to the des­ti­na­tion from the quaint desert town of Ouadane in the west-cen­­tral part of Mau­ri­ta­nia in west­ern North Africa.
