Description:

The Sydney Opera House is one of Sydney’s most beautiful and unusual buildings. Its sail-shaped structure, designed by Jarn Utzon, is famous around the world, and it is the only building in the world to have been designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site during its architect’s lifetime. The Opera House is also home to most of Sydney’s major classical music and opera events. You can tour the entire building and some of the foyers for free. Tours of the interior are available for $28, depart every 30 minutes, and take about an hour. Some tours are available in Chinese, Japanese, or Korean. Depending on rehearsals or performances in progress, not all areas can be visited.
