An Orthodox Greek monastery located on the mountain of the same name, at an altitude of 350 meters, on the site where, according to tradition, Jesus retired for forty days of fasting and meditation. It can be reached by cable car and offers a beautiful view of the city of Jericho and the Jordan Valley.
