The largest church in Serbia and one of the largest Orthodox churches in the world, under construction since 1935. Uniquely in Belgrade, it is more often known and signposted as a ”temple” rather than a ”church”, but in Orthodox Christianity these are synonyms. Interior decoration is not yet finished, however visitors have access to the north aisle and the crypt which are complete and in use. Located on KaraÄ‘orÄ‘e’s plateau in the Vračar area of Belgrade.
