Theodore Roo­sevelt Nation­al Park is an Amer­i­can bad­lands nation­al park in west­ern North Dako­ta, con­sist­ing of three geo­graph­i­cal­ly sep­a­rat­ed areas. In hon­or of US Pres­i­dent Theodore Roo­sevelt, this is the only Amer­i­can nation­al park named direct­ly after one per­son. The park occu­pies 70,446 acres (110.072 sq mi; 28,508 ha; 285.08 km²) of land, divid­ed into three sec­tions: North End, South End, and Elkhorn Ranch. The Lit­tle Mis­souri Riv­er flows through all three parts of the park.
