Описание:
The Tomb Shaft of Amuntefnahkt is one of the most remarkable vertical burial structures of the 26th Dynasty. It descends deep underground to a burial chamber of a high-ranking official, richly adorned with funerary texts and symbolic reliefs. The tomb includes a shaft over 20 meters deep linked to horizontal corridors. Its walls feature excerpts from the Book of the Dead and protective deities, while one chamber has a starry ceiling on a blue background. Scholars believe the structure may have been reused in later periods. It was first explored by European archaeologists in the early 20th century.
