Description:
This is an abandoned island measuring 300 by 500 meters. The area was inhabited in the past, but after the devastating tsunami of 2004, local residents were forced to leave. The giant wave flooded residential buildings, five people died, and 50 local residents went missing. The authorities feared a repeat of such a tragedy and decided to resettle all 3,500 residents to a safer area. Since then, the area has remained abandoned, all buildings are gradually deteriorating under the influence of time and nature.
