The largest com­plex of Scythi­an buri­als in East­ern Siberia. Many inter­est­ing archae­o­log­i­cal finds have been made here, and exca­va­tions are ongo­ing. The val­ue of the Tuvan “Val­ley of the Kings” is that it has been vir­tu­al­ly untouched by “black dig­gers.” Thanks to this, numer­ous gold objects were found here, as well as leather goods that have been pre­served under­ground. The finds made by archae­ol­o­gists are stored in muse­ums, most of them in the Repub­li­can Nation­al Muse­um in Kyzyl.
